Privacy.
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to send you your cover number, we never sell it, and it’s deleted whenever you ask. The long version follows — written to be read, not scrolled past.

What we collect.
Only if you save your number
Your email address, the inputs you gave — age band, income band, smoker status, cover multiplier, existing cover, and for health cover your household type and pin code (or that you skipped it) — the numbers shown to you, your reservation id, how you arrived (a campaign tag or referrer), and how long you looked before acting. Browsing without reserving sends us nothing personal until the moment you tap Buy now, which records the same inputs without any contact detail.
On your device only
Your result is kept in your browser’s local storage so it’s still there when you come back. It stays on your device; clearing your browser data removes it.
What we never collect
No phone number — there is nowhere on this site to type one. No name, no address, no documents, no payment details.
Why we collect it.
To send you your number
The email exists to deliver your estimate and the comparison checklist. That is its purpose; using it for anything else would need your fresh consent.
To learn whether this works
The inputs and arrival tag, in aggregate, tell us whether people finish, what they choose, and whether the product is worth building further. This is measurement of the product, never profiling of you.
A note on sensitivity
We know smoker status is health-adjacent and income is financial. Both are treated as sensitive: collected only with the estimate, used only for the purposes above, and covered by every deletion right on this page.
Where it lives.
The processor
Saved numbers are submitted through a third-party form service that stores them on our behalf. It acts as a data processor: it holds the data, and we control it. We keep the list access-controlled and do not share it with anyone else.
No sale, no ads
Your details are never sold, rented, or shared for advertising — not as a policy preference, but as a structural commitment: there is no advertising relationship for them to feed.
How long, and
how to delete it.
Retention
If you save a number and go no further, your details are deleted within 12 months of your last interaction with us. If you ask for deletion sooner, sooner wins.
Deletion, on one line
Reply “delete” to any email from us, or write to privacy@onncover.in, and everything we hold about you is removed — the saved number, the inputs, the email itself.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it erased. The same address handles all three: privacy@onncover.in.
If this changes.
If what we collect or why ever changes, this page changes first, the effective date moves, and anything new requiring your consent will ask for it — not assume it.
